Costumes and mascots, refreshed

Costumes and mascots are unusual, valuable and often irreplaceable — mixed materials, foam, fur, sequins and structure that ordinary laundry cannot handle. We assess each piece individually and clean it by hand or specialist method to remove sweat, odour and soiling while protecting its construction and finish.

We also clean concert costumes and stage wardrobe, and where a production runs multiple shows we offer fast turnaround between performances — costumes come back fresh, hygienic and stage-ready in time for the next appearance, looking as good as their first.

No two productions are alike, and neither are their wardrobes — from character mascots and dance costumes to concert wardrobe and one-off performance pieces built from unusual materials. Each is assessed individually and cleaned by the method it genuinely needs, protecting foam, fur, sequins, structure and finish that an ordinary wash would ruin.

Show schedules leave no margin for error, so speed and reliability are as important as care. For runs and multi-show events we work to tight, pre-agreed turnarounds — refreshing and deodorising between performances and returning everything stage-ready — so the wardrobe looks as good on closing night as it did on opening.
